A pigeon has laid eggs right outside my office window. I have become very caring about the pigeon..but I think its getting scared with my attention.
What i have observed is the remarkable sharing of responsibility of the mother pigeon and its partner..so wonderful..they made the nest together and also took care of the eggs equally ...no ego clashes whatsoever. The male pigeon doesn't think its not his duty to sit on the eggs or it is below his dignity to do so.
Think about humans. Can mothers leave the kids with husbands for an hour ? They would be so engrossed in TV and kids must have made a mess right in front of their eyes. To your dismay, your husband would notice the mess only when you make a noise.
Why did God make animals and birds so wonderfully caring towards their partner and men the opposite ? I have seen some exceptionally good husbands who share the responsibilities because they think its their responsibility too. God bless them, may your tribe increase.
